The pioneer of research into electrical currents, Nikola Tesla, developed the theory of a world energy system in his refuge in Colorado. In 1901, he applied for a patent for a device to use radiation energy. Ambient energy, as he defined it, was to be converted into an electrical current. The striking discharge of lightning from electrical charges that Tesla performed in his laboratory is displayed in »ACAC / Altering Current after Christ«. Tesla himself remains a shadow at the point where he supposedly had himself pasted into the picture.
