strade e vicoli

2015 Camille Corot Franz Horny Heinz Hindorf Joseph A. Koch

Often people do not think much about the names of streets, they are no longer orientation aids for many people.
In the small town of Olevano near Rome, it is specially noticeable that some streets are named after also less known German artists. Olevano Romano has been a destination for German artists for almost 250 years. This tradition is strongly supported by the scholarship program of the German Academy Villa Massimo. When I was there, the names of the streets, carved in marble, have come to my attention every day. I have taken them with me.
